Henderson Paddon & Associates Limited has immediate openings for Intermediate Civil Technologists/Technicians. The successful candidate will have a minimum of five to eight years experience as a civil engineering technologist, and will be a member of OACETT. The candidate will also have the following skills, experience and qualifications: • A diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from an accredited technical institute • Ability to develop engineering designs, calculations and drawings from preliminary concepts and sketches for municipal infrastructure projects such as roads, sanitary and water servicing, and land development • Knowledge of applicable legislation • Supervise or conduct field surveys, inspections or technical investigations of topography, soils, drainage and water supply systems, road and highway systems, buildings and structures to provide data for engineering projects • Experienced with AutoCAD, and experience with LDD/Civil 3D will be an asset • The candidate will demonstrate mature judgement, a positive team attitude and will have a high regard for customer service. • Effective written and verbal communication skills • Committed to ongoing personal and professional development Salary will be commensurate with experience and education.
